It was a wonderful journey with a lot of learning during my time in school. Since, my childhood I have seen my school growing and always placed amongst the top schools of North India. I am actively watching Chinmaya Boarding School on social media platforms and have observed that the school is showing enormous efforts in academics, extracurricular activities and sports. While I was at school, I was always being motivated by the faculty. Basic foundation for an engineer is Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, these subjects were taught by highly experienced faculty: Mr. Anshul, Mr. Sushil and Mrs. Anjana. The teaching of our school has always been remarkable and I hope it remains as good always. If I talk about scenic beauty of this place Nauni, where I have spent almost 22 years, I cannot express how very beautiful and a calm place it is. A perfect working environment to study and relax. I hope I can visit soon in future! Alas, I would like to give my profound regards to each faculty, staff and every member of Chinmaya.

I would  like to thank my teachers: Suman Sir, Manorama Ma’am, Sarla Ma’am, Shukla Ma’am whose contribution’s in developing my potential is something I can never forget. During my entire boarding journey, the consistency of the teachers towards their students remained focused on one goal: the development of their students. I am proud to say that I am a student of the Chinmaya Vidyalaya. I am truly indebted to the school for the base it provided for my successful endeavors. It inculcated into me perseverance, resilience and hard work that has remained with me throughout my life. A sapling that is tended lovingly and carefully in the early stage, attains great strength and heights in the later stage, Similarly, a child who is nurtured with great care and tenderness is likely to blossom into a happy life. This is truly what this school did to me. Words can’t describe my gratitude for the teachers whose imprints will be there with me forever. I pray to the almighty God for the well-being of the proud “CHINMAYANS””.

“If someone asks me that how lucky are you? I would say I am extremely lucky that I got a chance to be a part of “THE GREAT CHINMAYA FAMILY”. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, the Temple of Education, is the best boarding school that I could have gone to. The time spent there was never unproductive. At home, we learn to cherish relationships; at schools, we get education, but at Chinmaya, I learnt to live life. I grew up in a remote area of Punjab, It was Chinmaya that gave me the confidence to face any challenge. I learnt not only fluent English but also the vast co-curricular activities helped me to groom my leadership skills, made me competitive and taught me ways to explore myself. The faculty members are more like family members in Chinmaya. The food at Chinmaya is the best I ever had in my life. Education, sports, other activities – everything at Chinmaya was unique from other schools. At CVN, I was inculcated habits of self-study, help fellow mates and to never give up. Chinmaya has played the main role in my life. I was chosen as the Best Shipmate of 2018, I got sponsored by MTM Ship Management Pvt. Ltd. Singapore. I give all the credit to my teachers and the school. They have polished me so well that I have been able to tackle all hardships in my life. Now also, after being well travelled to so many countries around the globe, the best place is the Valley of Nauni where our school is located. Wherever I go , wherever I stay, my soul will always stay in Chinmaya and I would never want to be called as Ex-Student or Ex-Chinamayan, I always want to be called as Chinamayan and always want to be a part of “The Great Chinmaya Family””.

‌I joined Chinmaya in 1995 (Nursery) and left the school in 2009 (12th Grade). The journey of my school life can’t be expressed in few words. I have seen my school growing every day. My respected teachers who raised me like their own child was overwhelming. I was the head girl of the school in 2008- 2009, which taught me leadership qualities, team work, patience and many more things which till date help me in my personal and professional life. From school prayers to classes, from sports meet to annual function, from lunch breaks to play ground, from music class to computer class, from judo karate class to art of living sessions and from fun learning time in labs to endless experiences, I lived all in Chinmaya. How can I forget basketball clusters, the one’s we waited for every year. I have so much to tell about my school but to sum up my experience, Chinmaya is the best school where you can learn everything to become an all rounder. It has been an honor to be the student of Chinmaya.
‌PS: Thank you for organizing student’s reunion every year, this makes us stay connected forever.

“Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh” – A second place after my home where I learnt values and important lessons of my life. School days have the memories which a person cherishes and treasures for life. My school Chinmaya Vidyalaya has provided me with a formal structure that real life learning does not and that structure helped me to learn most importantly: self discipline. I studied in Chinmaya Vidyalaya from Nursery till 12th (14 years of my life). We were the pioneer batch of the school. Out teachers were like our parents in school. I want to thank each of my teachers who shaped me in these 14 years. Our teachers taught us morals, values, discipline and ethical principles of life. I was the Head girl of the school which was a great experience, it shaped me into a responsible person and inculcated leadership skills in me. My school helped me in lot many ways in achieving my goals. Whatever I am today is because of the teachings I received in school. My school days were simple but amazing. My friends and I use to have fun in subtle but beautiful and natural things. I used to participate in every curricular and co-curricular activity. Once I played the role of “Jhansi Ki Rani” in a play, a remarkable event which I can never forget in my life as it still bestows its impact on me. I remember its dialogues by heart even today. My school boosted my confidence, taught me to establish and maintain friendships and to work together as a team, which is a primary tenet of any successful society. Each experience of school is so fresh in my mind. I really miss my school days a lot. I want to thank school authorities and my classmate Mr. Anshul Verma who have gave me the opportunity to pen down my experiences.

I feel proud to be a student of Chinmaya. There are lot of great memories of mine associated with the school. What I am today is because of the blessings of my teachers who inculcated good “sanskars” in me. Chinmaya gave me a lot of opportunities to participate in various cultural and sports activities. I won various prizes at school block, district and state level, and National level too. I am a proud Chinmayan.

The best boarding school where I have spent my 7 good years (2006- 2013), learning new things and trying to be the best version of myself. It is the place which takes care of overall development of students. The best food (all meals) I ever had in a hostel and still crave for the same 😋😋.
Chinmaya made me capable of facing challenges and is the reason behind my success today.

“I am currently pursuing the DNS course since I’ve always been interested in the Navy. Very soon I will be a member of the Transworld Shipping Management Company and will be promoted to 3rd officer.
At the very outset, I would like to express my heartiest thanks to Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Nauni, which I had the good fortune to be a part of for almost about 6 years. I am really very thankful for the generous contribution, this school has made to my educational and academic pursuit. I extend my warm regards to the Chinmaya fraternity who helped me immensely to succeed. They provided wonderful opportunities for my growth. I cherished every moment of my life as a boarder at Chinmaya. We received infinite love from all our teachers. The friendly environment and systematic approach towards imparting education made us competent individuals. The wide range of activities, both curricular and co-curricular, helped us to see life beyond academics. I played as the National and State Level basketball player. Our teachers made us work hard, drilling into us that there is no shortcut to success. I am highly indebted to the entire faculty for helping me achieve great heights. Words are simply not enough to do justice to what I learnt in school. I feel blessed to have received education from such an institution.”

Satpreet
Computer Science Engineer

I joined Chinmaya after 10 grade. The faculty was so caring and helpful. I never heard a teacher saying no to a student for any doubt or helping out. Our mentors were always there as a support system, as a second family. During our board exams our teachers would stay up all night with us in case if we had any doubts. All the teachers were extremely supportive. Not only my knowledge was enhanced but also my inter-personal skills and moral ethics developed. The public speaking, the debates during the assembly really helped me in building up my confidence to speak in front of masses. Playing sports like volleyball helped me embrace teamwork and leadership qualities.
Being a hosteler, I’ve learnt to stay with people from different parts of the country, from different backgrounds and many of us became good friends for life. Everything on campus was so beautiful and cherishing, especially the school location. I miss the mountains covered with clouds and the serene nature, the morning view during the monsoon season as well as the chilly winters. I’m a proud Chinmayan and will always be.
